Embrace the chill at Brookings’ 12th annual Frost Fest!
Every President’s Day weekend, area attractions come together to showcase amazing indoor and outdoor winter activities. Frost Fest is the perfect mash-up for the entire family.

Saturday, February 14: 5:00 – 9:00 PM
$5 plus tax for general admission (ages 6 and older)
Free: Ages 5 and under, McCrory Gardens members, SDSU students and SDSU employees
Igloo rentals: $50 + tax/fees
Friday, February 13: 5:30 – 7:00 PM and 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Saturday, February 14: 5:30 – 7:00 PM and 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Included in your igloo rental is a heated space for up to six people to gather, hot chocolate, popcorn and candies!
It’s Visit Brookings’ Annual Frost Fest! Bundle up to celebrate the season on our indoor and outdoor prairie at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota.

The Snow Ball winter formal is sure to be a special night for children and their grown-up. The museum will transform into a dance floor and a DJ will be spinning tunes from the balcony!

Celebrate Frost Fest in Downtown Brookings! Fill up on chocolate treats throughout the neighborhood during our fun Chocolate Crawl. Each participating business will have a yummy treat to share. Explore new places and satisfy your sweet tooth.
